In the spring of 2001, Daybreak Designs was created to design, develop, manufacture, and market innovative houseware products that would make each day a little brighter. Its founders Davidson Lewis and Eric Feldman joined talents from two fields. Combining Davidson's extensive industrial design background with Eric's years of experience in the housewares industry, provided a creative and insightful platform to introduce innovative products to the housewares market. Daybreak Designs' first products, Veggie Scrub and Fruit Scrub, were debuted at the 2002 International Housewares Show in Chicago. This introduction proved a success with excitement and orders from all types of retailers. Since then Veggie Scrub and Fruit Scrub have been demonstrated at the Gourmet Products Show, the Fancy Food Show, and others. Both have been awarded The National Health and Wellness Member Tested and Recommended and The Cooking Club of America Member Tested and Recommended seals of approval. These unique products are currently available throughout the United States and in parts of Europe. The creative team at Daybreak Designs has several innovative product concepts in development, which are due to be released shortly.

In addition to houseware development, Eric Feldman and Davidson Lewis have other projects: Eric having founded a film company, Bulldog Productions L.L.C., has produced a feature length movie titled GRAVITY. Davidson has formed a skateboard invention company called ROXX, which manufactures and sells a kit for kids to make custom designs on the grip of their skateboard.
